Create together.
Protect your rights.
MAKAMBO — “business” in Lingala — is the structured collaboration space of Danafrica. African musical collaborations are rich. They deserve an adequate framework.
“Collaboration is the strength of African music.
The lack of framework is its weakness.”
Beats provided without a contract, credits forgotten upon publication, rights disputed months later — MAKAMBO structures collaborations before problems arise.
How it works
Initiate a project
Create a collaboration space for a single, an EP, a beat pack, or a long-term project. Invite your collaborators directly on the platform.
Define the terms
Rights, credits, splits, everyone's roles — everything is defined before starting. Not after.
Create together
Share your files, feedbacks, versions. A centralized workspace for all project participants.
Publish with confidence
Upon publication, defined rights and splits apply automatically via LISOLO. No ambiguity.
What MAKAMBO brings you
Rights protection from day one
Rights are defined at project creation, not after a dispute.
Integrated credits
Each contributor is credited permanently and indisputably.
Clear licenses
Sell or grant licenses on your productions with a clear framework.
Collaboration history
Your collaboration portfolio builds your reputation on the platform.
